I actually haven’t gotten the opportunity to watch Legend of Korra because Tumblr would not stop posting spoilers during the show’s airing time, so from that, I managed to scrounge up a rough idea of the plot direction. 

However, I was a huge fan of Avatar: The Last Airbender. That counts, right…

From the tiny amount of Korra I did watch, I liked Tahno, he is cool, plus I wanted to attempt water fx- so I drew a fan art.

quick sketchie; I can see Korra asking Tahno for theoretical lessons on the finer points of waterbending for sport, even without his ability. She’d do it to help him realize the skill is still there, that his knowledge is still useful, that he is still useful.
